Machi­nes for tip­ping shoelaces and cords

Artur Mül­ler und Söhne has been pro­du­cing machi­nes for the tip­ping of shoelaces, cords and bands for deca­des. Tip­ping refers to the pro­cess of app­ly­ing a pro­tec­tive sleeve to the end of a shoelace, cord or band. This pre­vents fray­ing and makes thre­a­ding easier. Seve­ral tip­ping tech­ni­ques are available depen­ding on the appli­ca­tion.

Artur Mül­ler & Söhne offers a wide range of tip­ping machi­nes, cove­ring tip­ping with foil, metal foil and T-foil, as well as tip­ping by heat and ultra­so­nic tip­ping for par­ti­cu­larly high dura­bi­lity.

Each of our cur­rent machi­nes is fully auto­ma­tic and has a spe­ci­fic strength. The AM 75 / 80 is our stan­dard model, ide­ally sui­ted for high volu­mes and cost-effi­ci­ent pro­duc­tion. The AM 74 can tip excep­tio­nally short and long shoelaces or bands. The AM-ULTRA uses ultra­so­nic tip­ping for par­ti­cu­larly high lon­ge­vity. The AM 76 and AM 72 are opti­mi­sed for tip­ping ela­s­tic cords by heat. We are happy to advise you on which machine best suits your requi­re­ments.
