Machines for tipping shoelaces and cords
Artur Müller und Söhne has been producing machines for the tipping of shoelaces, cords and bands for decades. Tipping refers to the process of applying a protective sleeve to the end of a shoelace, cord or band. This prevents fraying and makes threading easier. Several tipping techniques are available depending on the application.
Artur Müller & Söhne offers a wide range of tipping machines, covering tipping with foil, metal foil and T-foil, as well as tipping by heat and ultrasonic tipping for particularly high durability.
Each of our current machines is fully automatic and has a specific strength. The AM 75 / 80 is our standard model, ideally suited for high volumes and cost-efficient production. The AM 74 can tip exceptionally short and long shoelaces or bands. The AM-ULTRA uses ultrasonic tipping for particularly high longevity. The AM 76 and AM 72 are optimised for tipping elastic cords by heat. We are happy to advise you on which machine best suits your requirements.
Artur Müller und Söhne is the world market leader for shoelace tipping machines, covering bands, cords and all other types of laces. Our machines have been used in over 100 countries for more than 75 years and can remain operational for decades with proper maintenance. We also provide maintenance, repairs and training on request.
